There is so much more to horses than just riding! Horses require quite a bit of care and management and everything you do to care for your horse is horsemanship.
At Blackhawk Equestrian our primary goal is to create safe and competent equestrians who can use their skills anywhere and everywhere the horse world may take them. Every lesson includes SOME horsemanship, even for our youngest riders.
Outside of lessons we try to create extra opportunities for additional learning including cleaning tack, feeding, medicating and yes even cleaning manure!
The good old days of "barn rats" is alive and well at BHE making it truly a family barn!
